Voter says he registered at DMV about a year ago. He got a white postcard (but not a green card, which you need to get) he did not have it with him, just a drivers license. He has an unusual last name, so thought it had been misspelled. The polling place wants to send him downtown instead of giving him a provisional ballot. The poll watcher helped another person who was refused a provisional ballaot (and who it later turned out was actually on the rolls).

Rude election official told her they would finally mail out today 10/21/04. Official berated her intelligence and was very rude and insulting. Will call us back if still doesn't have absentee ballot by 10/25/04. Voter informs that she is disabled.

Voter applied for absentee ballot extra early to insue that she would be able to vote. She never recieved her absentee ballot and no other way of voting was possible at the time. Voter lives in South Carolina, but attends school in Ohio, where is currently located, and was located on 11/2. Voting matters alot to her, as she is in the US Army and she cares about military specifics and wished to vote to ensure that needs that she thinks benefits herself and her fellow soldiers. She is very upset with the SC Secretary of State for denying her the right to vote by not mailing her absentee ballot in an timely manner.
