PUD candidate, touched selected candidate's name and the vote registered for
the
other candidate instead. She
corrected both problems, but wanted to report the machines.

Adventist School, on Cypress, Lynnwood, Snohomish
County, Washington Voter inserted
her
card into voting machine, and when the ballot came up, boxes were already
checked. The machine was most likely the Sequoia AVC Edge, based
on
machines in use in Snohomish County, and on the description of the manner of
use. The boxes checked were not along straight party lines. She brought
it to the attention of one of the poll workers who said he
would "recalibrate" the machine. She managed to uncheck the boxes,
and confirmed that she voted
for the candidates of her choice.
