(Notes hard to read - typed as read from sheet): Had registered before - voted - went to Board of Elections - still refused to help. Didn't have to re-do - told provisional ballot wouldn't count so was told not to - was told "purged" from the system because hadn't voted in three years - would have to re-register - didn't offer new registration form.

In Trumbull County, a voter in Warren Township precinct D arrived at the polls to discover that someone had already voted in her name. The person who used her name apparently forged her signature and wrote that she lived at a different address. Board of Elections allowed her to cast a ballot

Gambier Community Center, Knox County, Ohio

Caller said that voters who are standing in line at the polling place as of 5:30 p.mn. are being told that the line will take up to 9 hours to be done, and that they have until 1:00 a.m. to be able to vote. Caller suspects that the polling officials want to encourage people to go home and eat dinner before coming back, and in the meanwhile, they will close at 7:30 and be able to say that they allowed everyone in line at the time the polls closed to vote because everyone will have gone home.

At Kenyon College there were only 2 voting booths. One student was in line for 10 1/2 hours. At 12:30 pm last night students were still in line. Polling officials were pushing provisional ballots to shorten the line. Wants this investigated. Caller also reported a shortage of voting machines in Democratic areas. Voters had to leave due to work and child care issues. Lots of voters walked away after spending several hours in line. Also thinks harddrives should be investigated.
