Caller's father voted on touch screen cmahine - for kerry edwards - when he went to check his vote - the vote had recorded Bush cheney ... he had to try 3 times to get the vote to kerry edwards. He told teh poll worker whose response was simply that the machine was tempermental.

One of the three machines (#v0112442-C) in the precint was not properly recording votes. It was brought to the attention of presiding judge. Board of Elections was contacted and the machine was recalibrated by BOE employee at 9:35 a.m. The machine was not closed between 7:40 a.m. and the time of recalibration.

Every time I tried to vote for the Democratic Party Presidential vote the machine went blank. I had to keep trying, it took 5 tries. The wait was forever because they only had 6 machines.

When a handicapped voter can't get inside the polls, the machine is brought out to the voter. But because all the machines are connected, everything inside stops until the handicapped voter is done voting. If this happens during the evening rush, we'll loose many voters.

Not enough machines causing waits of 3 hours or longer. Caller arrived to vote at 5:05PM (with 3 children - 6yo, 5yo and 1yo in tow) and was still waiting to vote when the doors were closed at 7:30PM. The volunteer estimated that she would have to wait at least another 30 minutes before she would get to vote. [P]
