Polling place inquiry; Other polling place problem

Indianola Church of Christ, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio

Caller is registered to vote and has a card. He knew his polling place to be Indianola Church of Christ on Indianola Avenue. However, this evening, about 5:30, someone dropped by his house and left a flyer from ACT, and told him that his polling place had changed, supposedly because of "political signs or something" around the location. The individual said that, unfortunately, they couldn't say where the new place was, but that he should be aware it's not in the old place. Called called his Board of Elections and got recorded information that the polling place is where he thought it was. Also, our online database confirms it's still Indianola Church of Christ. The flyer, which was labeled as coming from ACT, also gave the Election Protection number to call with questions. So, he called us after calling the Board of Elections. I suggested he plan on voting in the old place, but he might drop by to confirm the location tomorrow (Monday).

Registration-related problem; Machine problem; Long lines; Other polling place problem

NE Recreation Center, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio

Gentleman presiding over election machines decided it owuld be better to break the single line that people had been standing in and create two lines than others started to cut in front of other people who had been waiting for more than an hour and created chaos. It made a system that was working at first into a bad situation and had people waiting to vote longer then tey had to.
